ACCOUNTANT

Job Vacancy – Accountant

Seth M.R. Jaipuria School invites applications for the post of Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations of the school
• Maintain accurate records of fees collection, expenses, vouchers, and receipts
• Handle billing, fee reconciliation, and student accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in budgeting, audits, and compliance with statutory requirements
• Maintain books of accounts using accounting software and MS Excel
• Ensure timely processing of salaries, invoices, and payments
• Follow school policies, schedules, and financial guidelines
• Coordinate with school management, auditors, and staff when required
• Participate in meetings and support the smooth financial functioning of the school

Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Commerce preferred)
Experience: Minimum 3 years

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping
Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills (English / Hindi)
Punctual, responsible, and professional approach
Willingness to learn and adapt to school systems
Ready to attend interview and probation period

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on qualification & experience)
Benefits: As per school policy
