Job Vacancy – PGT Economics

SHIKSHANTAR SCHOOL is looking to hire a PGT Economics for our school in Sector 41, Gurugram, Haryana 122003. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Economics education at the senior secondary level and ensuring strong academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Economics to Classes XI–XII as per CBSE curriculum
• Develop lesson plans covering Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Indian Economic Development
• Prepare students for board examinations with structured revision and assessment strategies
• Conduct regular tests, assignments, and performance evaluations
• Guide students in project work, case studies, and data interpretation
• Maintain academic records and monitor student progress
• Ensure discipline and a positive classroom environment
• Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and school events

Role-Specific Skills Required (Economics Expertise):
• Strong conceptual knowledge of Micro & Macroeconomics
• Ability to explain economic theories using real-life examples and case studies
• Proficiency in statistical tools, data analysis, and graphical representation
• Experience in CBSE board exam preparation and marking schemes
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and classroom management abilities

Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics
Professional Qualification: B.Ed, M.Ed
Experience: Minimum 5 years

Requirements:
• Punctual, responsible, and professional approach
• Good communication skills (English preferred)
• Ability to handle senior secondary classes independently
• Willingness to attend interview, demo class, and probation period

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
