Job Vacancy – TGT Biology
SHIKSHANTAR SCHOOL is looking to hire a TGT Biology for our school in Sector 41, Gurugram, Haryana 122003. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering effective Biology instruction and strengthening students’ scientific understanding at the secondary level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Biology to middle and secondary classes as per CBSE curriculum
• Prepare structured lesson plans covering Life Sciences, Cell Biology, Genetics, Human Physiology, and Environmental Science
• Conduct practical sessions and laboratory activities safely and effectively
• Prepare students for examinations through assessments, worksheets, and revision strategies
• Maintain lab records, practical files, and academic documentation
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support where needed
• Maintain discipline and encourage scientific curiosity
• Participate in school academic activities and events
Role-Specific Skills Required (Biology Expertise):
• Strong conceptual knowledge of core Biology topics
• Ability to conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations
• Experience with CBSE syllabus and assessment patterns
• Skill in explaining complex biological processes with clarity
• Competency in preparing question papers and evaluating answer scripts
• Effective classroom management and student engagement skills
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field
Professional Qualification: B.Ed
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Requirements:
• Punctual, responsible, and professional approach
• Good communication skills (English preferred)
• Ability to handle practical and theory classes independently
• Willingness to attend interview, demo class, and probation period
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹32,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
