Job Vacancy – Transport Incharge
SHIKSHANTAR SCHOOL is looking to hire a Transport Incharge for our school in Sector 41, Gurugram, Haryana 122003. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the school transport system to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily functioning of school buses and transport routes
• Prepare and manage bus schedules and route planning
• Ensure safety compliance as per transport and school regulations
• Supervise drivers, conductors, and transport staff
• Maintain vehicle records, insurance, permits, and fitness documentation
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, repairs, and servicing schedules
• Address parent queries related to transport facilities
• Ensure discipline, punctuality, and smooth transport operations
Role-Specific Skills Required (Transport & Operations Management):
• Strong knowledge of transport coordination and route management
• Understanding of vehicle documentation, RTO norms, and safety standards
• Ability to manage and supervise transport staff effectively
• Record-keeping and operational planning skills
• Crisis management and quick decision-making abilities
• Basic computer proficiency for maintaining transport data
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Qualification: As applicable
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Requirements:
• Punctual, responsible, and professional approach
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to handle operational responsibilities independently
• Willingness to attend interview and probation period
Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
