Job Vacancy – Sports Teacher (All Classes)

Doon International School is looking to hire a Sports Teacher (All Classes) for our school in Gurdaspur, Punjab 143521. The selected candidate will be responsible for promoting physical education, sports training, and overall fitness development across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Physical Education classes for primary to senior secondary students
• Train students in various indoor and outdoor sports activities
• Develop structured fitness programs and skill-based sports training sessions
• Organize inter-house, inter-school competitions, and annual sports events
• Ensure student safety during practices and matches
• Maintain sports equipment and playground discipline
• Identify and nurture talented students for competitive events
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship

Role-Specific Skills Required (Sports & Physical Education):
• Strong knowledge of multiple sports such as athletics, football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc.
• Expertise in physical fitness training and endurance development
• Understanding of rules, regulations, and refereeing standards
• Ability to organize tournaments and manage sports events
• First-aid knowledge and sports injury management basics
• Leadership and team management skills

Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Qualification: B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed
Experience: Minimum 5 years

Requirements:
• Punctual, responsible, and professional approach
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to handle students of all age groups
• Willingness to attend interview and probation period

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
