Job Vacancy – PGT Psychology

PATHANIA PUBLIC SCHOOL is inviting applications for the position of PGT Psychology at our campus in Suncity Township-I, Rohtak, Haryana 124001. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Psychology education at the senior secondary level and contributing to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Psychology to senior secondary classes as per Board guidelines
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, case studies, and assessment materials
• Develop students’ understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and practical applications
• Guide students in project work, practical files, and board exam preparation
• Conduct classroom discussions, experiments, and psychological assessments (as per curriculum)
• Maintain discipline and create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
• Follow school policies, schedules, and academic framework
• Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents (if required)
• Participate in academic meetings, events, and school activities

Subject-Specific Skills Required (Psychology)

• Strong knowledge of Cognitive, Developmental, Social, and Abnormal Psychology
• Understanding of research methodology, statistics, and experimental psychology
• Ability to guide students in psychological case studies and data interpretation
• Familiarity with board exam patterns and result-oriented teaching strategies
• Excellent analytical, communication, and mentoring skills
• Ability to handle adolescent behavioral and emotional concerns professionally

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach
• Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both
• Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
• Ready to attend interview, demo class, and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree (Psychology)
Professional Qualification: B.Ed
Experience: 10 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹42,000 – ₹58,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
Benefits: As per school policy
