Job Vacancy – PET (Female)
Himalayan Public School is inviting applications for the position of Physical Education Teacher (Female) at our campus in Rohru, Himachal Pradesh 171207. The selected candidate will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, sports discipline, and overall well-being of students while supporting the smooth functioning of the school.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and conduct physical education classes for students
• Train students in various indoor and outdoor sports activities
• Organize sports events, competitions, drills, and annual sports day
• Maintain discipline during sports periods and practice sessions
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of sports equipment
• Promote teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students
• Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines
• Coordinate with staff, management, and parents when required
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and events
Role-Specific Skills Required (Physical Education & Sports Skills)
• Strong knowledge of physical training techniques and fitness routines
• Ability to train students in athletics, yoga, team games, and drills
• Knowledge of warm-up, cool-down, injury prevention, and basic first aid
• Skills in organizing inter-house and inter-school sports competitions
• Ability to assess students’ physical fitness levels and track progress
• Leadership and team management skills
Requirements
• Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach
• Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both
• Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
• Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period
Qualification & Experience
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Qualification (if applicable): B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed
Experience: 3 years
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹24,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
