SPECIAL EDUCATOR

Job Vacancy – Special Educator

VSPK International School is inviting applications for the position of Special Educator at our campus in Sector 26A, Gurugram, Haryana 122002. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting students with diverse learning needs and ensuring inclusive education practices within the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess students with special educational needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide remedial instruction and learning support
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements
• Work closely with subject teachers to ensure inclusive classroom practices
• Conduct regular progress assessments and maintain detailed records
• Guide parents regarding student progress and intervention strategies
• Maintain discipline and a positive, supportive learning environment
• Participate in school meetings, training programs, and activities

Role-Specific Skills Required (Special Education Expertise)

• Strong understanding of inclusive education practices
• Knowledge of learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral challenges
• Ability to design and implement IEPs and remedial programs
• Skills in differentiated instruction and classroom accommodations
• Patience, empathy, and strong counseling abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach
• Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both
• Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
• Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Qualification: B.Ed (Special Education preferred)
Experience: 5 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
Benefits: As per school policy
