Job Vacancy – PGT Biology Teacher

St. Xavier International School is looking to hire a PGT Biology Teacher for our school near Medicine Center, Bishunpur, Bihar 843360. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Biology education for senior classes and supporting the smooth academic functioning of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology to senior secondary classes as per prescribed curriculum
• Prepare structured lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
• Conduct practical sessions and laboratory experiments effectively
• Maintain student records, performance reports, and academic documentation
• Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines
• Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive classroom environment
• Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents when required
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and academic events

Subject-Specific Skills (Biology Expertise)

• Strong command over Botany, Zoology, Human Physiology, Genetics, and Ecology
• Ability to conduct and supervise laboratory experiments with safety protocols
• Experience in preparing students for Board examinations
• Skill in creating diagrams, models, and concept-based explanations
• Familiarity with practical files, viva preparation, and project guidance
• Ability to integrate digital tools and smart boards in Biology teaching

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach
• Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both
• Strong classroom management skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
• Ready to attend interview, demo, and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree (Biology)
Professional Qualification: B.Ed, M.Ed
Experience: 5 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹42,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
