Job Vacancy – PGT Physics Teacher

St. Xavier International School is looking to hire a PGT Physics Teacher for our school in Ayachigram, Muzaffarpur, Bihar 843108. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physics education to senior secondary classes and supporting the smooth academic functioning of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics to senior secondary classes as per prescribed curriculum
• Prepare structured lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
• Conduct laboratory practicals, experiments, and demonstrations
• Maintain academic records, performance reports, and evaluation sheets
• Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines
• Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive classroom environment
• Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents when required
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and academic events

Subject-Specific Skills (Physics Expertise)

• Strong command over Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism, Optics, and Modern Physics
• Ability to explain numerical problem-solving and derivations clearly
• Experience in conducting Physics lab experiments with safety standards
• Skill in preparing students for Board examinations and competitive exams
• Familiarity with practical files, project work, and viva preparation
• Ability to use digital teaching tools, simulations, and smart boards effectively

Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach
• Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both
• Strong classroom management skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
• Ready to attend interview, demo, and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree (Physics)
Professional Qualification: B.Ed, M.Ed
Experience: 5 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹42,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
