Job Vacancy – PRT English Teacher
St. Xavier International School is looking to hire a PRT English Teacher for our school in Ayachigram, Muzaffarpur, Bihar 843108. The selected candidate will be responsible for building strong foundational English skills among primary students and supporting the smooth academic functioning of the school.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach English to primary classes as per the prescribed curriculum
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and engaging classroom activities
• Focus on reading, writing, phonics, grammar, vocabulary, and spoken English
• Conduct regular assessments and maintain student progress records
• Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents when required
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and events
Subject-Specific Skills (English Teaching Expertise)
• Strong command over English grammar, phonics, and sentence formation
• Ability to improve students’ reading fluency and comprehension skills
• Skill in teaching creative writing, storytelling, and poem recitation
• Clear pronunciation and effective spoken English skills
• Experience in activity-based and interactive teaching methods
• Ability to prepare students for internal exams and assessments
Requirements
• Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach
• Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both
• Strong classroom management skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
• Ready to attend interview, demo, and probation period
Qualification & Experience
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
Professional Qualification: D.El.Ed
Experience: 5 years
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹28,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
