Position Details
Post: PGT History Teacher
Location: Muzaffarpur, Dighra Patti, Bihar 842002
Key Responsibilities
Teach History to senior secondary classes as per prescribed curriculum
Cover core areas such as Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Indian History, World History, and Historiography
Develop students’ analytical thinking, source-based interpretation, and answer-writing skills
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and board-exam-oriented study materials
Conduct regular assessments and evaluate academic performance
Guide students in map work, case studies, and research-based projects
Maintain classroom discipline and promote discussion-based learning
Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines
Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents (if required)
Participate in school activities, meetings, and academic events
Required Skills
Strong command of senior secondary History syllabus
Ability to connect historical events with contemporary relevance
Expertise in board exam preparation and structured answer writing
Excellent communication skills in English and/or Hindi
Strong classroom management and mentoring skills
Punctual, responsible, and professional approach
Willingness to attend interview, demo class, and probation period
Qualification & Experience
Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in History
Professional Qualification: B.Ed (Mandatory),M.Ed (Preferred)
Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
