Job Opening: Transport Incharge

VIDYA JYOTI SCHOOL is inviting applications for the post of Transport Incharge for our school campus.

PO & PS – Ekangarsarai, District Nalanda, Bihar – 801301

Manage and supervise daily school transport operations (buses/vans)

Ensure safe and timely pick-up and drop-off of students

Plan and monitor transport routes and schedules

Coordinate with drivers, helpers, school staff, management, and parents

Maintain vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, Fitness, Permits) and ensure safety compliance

Ensure discipline and professionalism among transport staff

Follow school policies, schedules, and operational guidelines

Participate in school meetings and events when required

Strong route planning and time management skills

Knowledge of transport safety rules and government norms

Ability to manage drivers and transport staff effectively

Record-keeping and reporting skills

Problem-solving and emergency handling capability

Punctual, responsible, and professional approach

Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both

Strong coordination and leadership skills

Willingness to learn and adapt to school systems

Ready to attend interview and probation period

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Qualification (if applicable): Knowledge of Transport Management / Safety Regulations preferred

Experience: Minimum 3 years (preferably in school transport or fleet management)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
