CAMBRIDGE PREP./PUBLIC SCHOOL is inviting applications for the post of PGT History Teacher for our school campus.

Saidpur, Gangapur, Bihar – 804407

Key Responsibilities

Teach History to senior secondary classes as per the prescribed curriculum

Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and question papers

Develop students’ understanding of historical events, timelines, and concepts

Conduct regular assessments and evaluate student performance

Encourage critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions and projects

Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment

Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines

Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents when required

Participate in school meetings, activities, and events

Subject-Specific Skills (History)

Strong command over Ancient, Medieval, and Modern History

Ability to explain historical events with proper context and analysis

Skill in developing analytical and research-based learning among students

Knowledge of board examination patterns and answer-writing guidance

Ability to use maps, timelines, and visual teaching methods effectively

Requirements

Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach

Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both

Strong classroom management and teaching ability

Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes

Ready to attend interview, demo class, and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree (History)

Professional Qualification: B.Ed.

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹48,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
