Job Opportunity: Music Teacher – PRT at SHIKSHA NIKETAN

SHIKSHA NIKETAN is looking to hire a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher – PRT for our school located in Dighikala West, Bihar 844101. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing students’ musical abilities and creativity while supporting the smooth functioning of the school.

Key Responsibilities

Teach music to primary classes (PRT level)

Train students in vocal and/or basic instrumental music

Develop rhythm, melody, and performance skills among students

Prepare students for school events, competitions, and performances

Perform duties related to the assigned role as per school requirements

Follow school policies, schedules, and guidelines

Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive learning environment

Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time

Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents (if required)

Participate in school activities, meetings, and events

Subject-Specific Skills Required

Strong vocal and/or instrumental music skills

Knowledge of basic music theory and rhythm

Ability to train and manage young learners

Creativity in planning engaging music sessions

Performance preparation and stage coordination skills

Requirements

Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach

Good communication skills in English and/or Hindi

Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes

Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Qualification (if applicable): D.El.Ed

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹28,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
