Job Opportunity: PGT Physics Teacher at DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL

DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL is looking to hire a qualified and experienced PGT Physics Teacher for our school located in Ashok Nagar, Gaya, Bihar 823001. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physics education to senior secondary students while supporting the smooth functioning of the school.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Physics to senior secondary classes (PGT level)

Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments as per curriculum

Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure proper lab safety

Explain complex numerical and theoretical concepts clearly

Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance

Perform duties related to the assigned role as per school requirements

Follow school policies, schedules, and guidelines

Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive learning environment

Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time

Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents (if required)

Participate in school activities, meetings, and events

Subject-Specific Skills Required

Strong subject knowledge in Physics

Practical lab handling and experiment demonstration skills

Ability to simplify complex concepts and numericals

Lesson planning and classroom management skills

Student mentoring and exam preparation guidance

Requirements

Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach

Good communication skills in English and/or Hindi

Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes

Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree

Professional Qualification (if applicable): B.Ed / M.Ed

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
