Job Opportunity: PGT Chemistry Teacher at DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL
DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL is looking to hire a highly qualified and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher for our school located in Ashok Nagar, Gaya, Bihar 823001. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering advanced Chemistry education to senior secondary students while supporting the smooth functioning of the school.
Teach Chemistry to senior secondary classes (PGT level)
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments as per curriculum
Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure proper lab safety
Explain complex chemical concepts, reactions, and numericals effectively
Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance
Perform duties related to the assigned role as per school requirements
Follow school policies, schedules, and guidelines
Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive learning environment
Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents (if required)
Participate in school activities, meetings, and events
Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
Practical lab handling and experiment demonstration skills
Ability to simplify organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry concepts
Lesson planning and classroom management skills
Student mentoring and exam preparation guidance
Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach
Good communication skills in English and/or Hindi
Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period
Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree
Professional Qualification (if applicable): B.Ed / M.Ed
Experience: Minimum 10 years
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
