Job Opportunity: PGT Science Teacher (All Subjects) at ST. XAVIER'S HIGH SCHOOL

ST. XAVIER'S HIGH SCHOOL is looking to hire a highly qualified and experienced PGT Science Teacher (All Subjects) for our school located in Babhnauli, Siwan, Bihar 841226. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching senior secondary Science subjects while supporting the smooth functioning of the school.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Science stream subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to senior secondary classes

Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments as per curriculum

Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure proper safety measures

Develop students’ conceptual understanding and analytical skills

Conduct regular tests and monitor student academic progress

Provide guidance for board exam preparation

Perform duties related to the assigned role as per school requirements

Follow school policies, schedules, and guidelines

Maintain discipline, professionalism, and a positive learning environment

Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time

Coordinate with school staff, management, and parents (if required)

Participate in school activities, meetings, and events

Subject-Specific Skills Required

Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

Practical lab handling and experiment demonstration skills

Ability to teach interdisciplinary science concepts

Lesson planning and classroom management skills

Student mentoring and exam preparation guidance

Requirements

Punctual, responsible, and professional in approach

Strong communication skills in English and/or Hindi

Ability to handle senior secondary classes effectively

Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes

Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree

Professional Qualification (if applicable): B.Ed / M.Ed

Experience: Minimum 10 years

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹55,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
