TGT Social Science Teacher
Key Responsibilities (Structured Format)
Academic Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) to middle school classes
- Plan and deliver lessons as per curriculum guidelines
- Prepare students for school examinations and assessments
Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and assignments
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluate student performance
Student Development:
- Develop students’ understanding of social, political, and geographical concepts
- Encourage critical thinking and awareness of current affairs
- Guide students in projects, map work, and research-based activities
Coordination & School Activities:
- Coordinate with teachers, management, and parents
- Participate in meetings, school events, and academic programs
- Follow school policies, schedules, and guidelines
Required Skills
Subject-Specific Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics)
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and relate them to real-life contexts
- Skills in map work, project-based learning, and activity-based teaching
Additional Skills:
- Classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, presentations, digital teaching tools)
Communication Skills:
- Good communication in English / Hindi / Both
Requirements
- Punctual, responsible, and professional approach
- Ability to handle middle school students effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
- Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed, CTET, STET
- Experience: Minimum 5 years
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
