YUGAM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is inviting applications for the position of Special Educator. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced professional who can support students with diverse learning needs and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and support students with special educational needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit diverse learners
- Provide one-on-one or small group support sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school management
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records
- Maintain discipline and a supportive classroom environment
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and events
Subject-Specific Skills (Special Education)
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and learning disabilities
- Ability to design and implement individualized learning strategies
- Skills in behavior management and student counseling
- Familiarity with assessment tools and progress tracking
- Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills
Requirements
- Punctual, responsible, and professional attitude
- Good communication skills in English / Hindi / Both
- Willingness to learn and adapt to school processes
- Ready to attend interview, demo (if applicable),and probation period
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree (Special Education or relevant field)
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed / CTET / STET (as applicable)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month (based on qualification and experience)
- Additional benefits as per school policy
