Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting books.
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally.
• Prepare and file GST Returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain payroll records and assist with salary processing as required.
• Generate reports and perform financial analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with auditors, school management, banks, and government authorities when required.
• Ensure compliance with school financial policies and statutory requirements.
• Participate in administrative tasks and support the smooth functioning of the school.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Thorough understanding of GST Return filing, taxation, and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality while handling financial data.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Professional Qualification

Candidates with any of the following will be preferred:

• Certification in Tally ERP/TallyPrime
• GST or Taxation Certification
• Other relevant accounting or finance certifications

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an educational institution or a similar organization.
