Key Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject to senior secondary students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, practical activities (where applicable),and assessments.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding and analytical skills through interactive teaching methods.
• Monitor student performance and provide academic guidance for continuous improvement.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Coordinate with school management, fellow teachers, and parents regarding students' academic progress.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations wherever applicable.
• Participate in school assemblies, examinations, staff meetings, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
• Follow school policies, academic schedules, and institutional guidelines.

Subject-Specific Skills

PGT Physics Teacher

• Strong knowledge of Physics concepts, numerical problem-solving, and laboratory experiments.
• Ability to teach mechanics, electricity, magnetism, optics, modern physics, and practical applications.
• Experience in conducting laboratory practicals and preparing students for board examinations.

PGT Biology Teacher

• Strong understanding of Botany, Zoology, Human Physiology, Genetics, Ecology, and Biotechnology.
• Ability to conduct biology practicals and develop scientific thinking among students.
• Experience in preparing students for board examinations and competitive entrance exams.

PGT Geography Teacher

• Thorough knowledge of Physical Geography, Human Geography, Environmental Geography, GIS, and Map Work.
• Ability to teach geographical concepts using maps, charts, and digital resources.
• Strong understanding of current geographical issues and environmental studies.

Required Skills

• Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Effective lesson planning, assessment, and student mentoring abilities.
• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technologies.
• Good organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate students and create an engaging learning environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.

Professional Qualification

Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be preferred:

• B.Ed.
• CTET
• STET
• Other relevant teaching certifications.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT in the relevant subject.
