Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise sports and physical education programmes for students.
• Coach students in Lawn Tennis, Badminton, and Kho-Kho, focusing on skill development and competitive performance.
• Organize inter-house, inter-school, district, and state-level sports competitions.
• Prepare training schedules, practice sessions, and fitness programmes for students.
• Maintain sports equipment, playgrounds, courts, and inventory.
• Identify and nurture talented athletes for participation in tournaments and championships.
• Ensure student safety during sports activities and maintain discipline on the field.
• Coordinate with school management, teachers, and parents regarding sports events and student participation.
• Conduct morning assemblies, physical fitness activities, and sports-related events.
• Follow school policies, schedules, and guidelines while promoting a healthy and active school environment.

Sports-Specific Skills

• Expertise in coaching Lawn Tennis, Badminton, and Kho-Kho.
• Strong knowledge of game rules, coaching techniques, and fitness training.
• Ability to organize tournaments, sports meets, and athletic events.
• Experience in talent identification and preparing students for competitive sports.
• Knowledge of sports injury prevention, first aid, and player safety.
• Familiarity with sports equipment management and maintenance.

Required Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Effective planning, organizational, and motivational skills.
• Ability to encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining sports records and event planning.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.

Professional Qualification

Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be preferred:

• B.P.Ed.
• M.P.Ed.
• Other relevant certifications in Physical Education, Sports Coaching, or Sports Management.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sports Teacher, Coach, or Sports Incharge in a recognized educational institution.
