Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics and Social Science to middle school students using interactive and student-centred teaching methods.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments in line with the prescribed curriculum.
• Develop students' problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills in Mathematics and Social Science.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve academic performance.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Coordinate with school management, fellow teachers, and parents regarding students' academic development.
• Participate in examinations, school events, meetings, and co-curricular activities.
• Follow school policies, academic schedules, and institutional guidelines.

Subject-Specific Skills

Mathematics

• Strong knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, and basic statistics.
• Ability to simplify mathematical concepts using practical examples and activity-based learning.
• Experience in preparing students for school examinations and academic assessments.

Social Science

• Thorough understanding of History, Geography, Civics, Economics, and Environmental Studies.
• Ability to make learning engaging through maps, projects, discussions, and real-world examples.
• Knowledge of current affairs and social issues relevant to the curriculum.

Required Skills

• Excellent classroom management and subject knowledge.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Effective lesson planning and student assessment abilities.
• Ability to integrate digital learning tools and smart classroom technology.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics and/or Social Science as relevant subjects from a recognized university.

Professional Qualification

Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be preferred:

• B.Ed.
• CTET
• STET

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as a TGT Mathematics and/or Social Science Teacher.
