Key Responsibilities
- Teach Pre-Primary and Primary students using activity-based and experiential learning methods.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and classroom activities.
- Foster children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Monitor students' academic progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' performance and well-being.
- Maintain attendance records, assessments, and classroom documentation.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, parent-teacher meetings, and training programmes.
- Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines.
Subject-Specific Skills
- Strong understanding of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) principles.
- Ability to teach foundational English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and General Awareness.
- Expertise in storytelling, phonics, rhymes, art & craft, and activity-based learning.
- Ability to promote language development, creativity, and social skills through interactive classroom activities.
- Knowledge of child psychology and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
Required Skills
- Excellent classroom management and child-handling skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Creative, patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach towards teaching.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching resources.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
Professional Qualification
Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be preferred:
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a Pre-Primary or Primary school.
