Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Art & Craft classes for Pre-Primary and Primary students.
- Plan and implement creative activities such as drawing, painting, sketching, colouring, paper craft, clay modelling, origami, collage making, and DIY projects.
- Encourage students to explore creativity, imagination, and self-expression through various art forms.
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain records of students' artistic progress.
- Organize school exhibitions, art competitions, cultural events, and creative workshops.
- Decorate classrooms, notice boards, and school premises for events and celebrations.
- Maintain art supplies, craft materials, and classroom resources efficiently.
- Coordinate with teachers, school management, and parents whenever required.
- Follow school policies, schedules, and academic guidelines.
- Participate in school meetings, events, and co-curricular activities.
Subject-Specific Skills
- Strong knowledge of drawing, painting, sketching, colouring, and various craft techniques.
- Creativity in designing age-appropriate art and craft activities.
- Ability to teach using activity-based and experiential learning methods.
- Experience in preparing decorative materials for school functions and celebrations.
- Knowledge of different art mediums and classroom art management.
Required Skills
- Excellent artistic and creative abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate young learners.
- Good classroom management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with digital design tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
Professional Qualification
Candidates with any of the following will be preferred:
- Diploma or Certification in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Applied Arts, Art & Craft, Drawing & Painting, or other relevant creative disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Art & Craft Teacher or Educator in a school or educational institution.
