Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students for academic, personal, emotional, and behavioural concerns.
• Guide students in career planning, goal setting, and subject selection.
• Identify students requiring additional emotional or psychological support and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Conduct workshops and awareness programmes on mental health, stress management, life skills, and personality development.
• Maintain confidential counselling records and prepare reports when required.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school management to support students' overall development.
• Address issues related to bullying, peer relationships, classroom behaviour, and emotional well-being.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and student welfare initiatives.
• Follow school policies, schedules, and counselling ethics while performing assigned duties.

Required Skills

• Strong counselling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality while working with students.
• Excellent listening, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of child and adolescent psychology, behavioural management, and student development.
• Ability to conduct workshops, counselling sessions, and parent guidance programmes.
• Basic computer proficiency for maintaining records and preparing reports.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.

Professional Qualification

Candidates with qualifications or certifications in any of the following areas will be preferred:

• Psychology
• Counselling
• Child Development
• Guidance & Counselling
• Social Work
• Other relevant professional certifications

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a School Counsellor, Student Counsellor, or in a similar counselling role.
