Key Responsibilities

• Teach Science to middle school students as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, laboratory activities, and assessments.
• Explain scientific concepts through demonstrations, experiments, and interactive teaching methods.
• Conduct laboratory practicals while ensuring proper safety measures and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Develop students' observation, analytical, and critical thinking skills through activity-based learning.
• Assess students' academic performance regularly and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Coordinate with school management, fellow teachers, and parents regarding students' academic progress.
• Participate in school assemblies, examinations, staff meetings, workshops, science exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
• Follow school policies, academic schedules, and institutional guidelines.

Subject-Specific Skills

• Strong knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science at the middle school level.
• Ability to conduct laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations effectively.
• Expertise in activity-based, inquiry-based, and experiential learning methodologies.
• Ability to simplify scientific concepts using real-life examples, models, and visual aids.
• Experience in preparing students for CBSE/ICSE/State Board examinations.
• Proficiency in using smart classroom technology, science laboratory equipment, and digital educational resources.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree with Science or a relevant subject from a recognized university.

Professional Qualification

Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be preferred:

• B.Ed.
• CTET
• STET
• Other relevant teaching certifications.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience as a TGT Science Teacher in a recognized school.
