Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sanskrit to middle school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, assessments, and learning materials.
- Develop students' proficiency in Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, pronunciation, and comprehension.
- Teach Sanskrit literature, shlokas, stories, and cultural values in an engaging and interactive manner.
- Encourage spoken Sanskrit through classroom conversations, recitations, and language activities.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback for academic improvement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Coordinate with school management, fellow teachers, and parents regarding students' academic progress.
- Participate in school assemblies, cultural programmes, examinations, workshops, and co-curricular activities.
- Follow school policies, academic schedules, and institutional guidelines.
Subject-Specific Skills
- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit Grammar (Vyakarana),Literature (Sahitya),Vocabulary, Composition, and Translation.
- Ability to teach Sandhi, Samasa, Karak, Dhatu Roop, Shabd Roop, and Sanskrit sentence formation effectively.
- Expertise in teaching Sanskrit through activity-based and interactive learning methods.
- Ability to promote spoken Sanskrit and appreciation of Indian heritage and classical literature.
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE/ICSE/State Board examinations.
- Proficiency in using smart classroom technology, digital educational resources, and multimedia teaching aids.
Required Skills
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, along with excellent command of Sanskrit.
- Effective lesson planning, assessment, and student mentoring skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Passion for language teaching and preserving India's classical linguistic heritage.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with educational technology tools.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree with Sanskrit as a major subject from a recognized university.
Professional Qualification
Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be preferred:
