Job Responsibilities

• Teach History, Geography, and Political Science in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Develop students' understanding of historical events, geographical concepts, political systems, and contemporary issues through engaging classroom instruction.
• Encourage analytical thinking, research skills, discussion, and active participation among students.
• Assess student performance through classwork, assignments, projects, practical activities (where applicable), and examinations.
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and critical thinking.
• Integrate digital tools, maps, case studies, and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance classroom learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to achieve academic objectives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, school functions, educational tours, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and Political Science.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts through interactive and student-centric teaching methods.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Good command of English and Hindi.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and classroom technology.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET, STET, or other relevant teaching qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
