Job Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and senior secondary academic standards.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, teaching resources, assignments, projects, practical activities (where applicable),and assessments.
• Deliver engaging classroom instruction using innovative, technology-enabled, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and subject-specific skills.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom activities.
• Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation and academic excellence.
• Guide students in examination preparation, competitive examinations, project work, and career-oriented learning.
• Coordinate effectively with parents, colleagues, academic coordinators, and school management regarding student development.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, school programmes, educational events, training sessions, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

PGT Physics

• Strong knowledge of Physics concepts, practical applications, laboratory procedures, and numerical problem-solving.
• Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts through practical demonstrations and interactive teaching.

PGT Mathematics

• Excellent command of algebra, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and advanced mathematical concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prepare students for board and competitive examinations.

PGT History

• Comprehensive knowledge of Indian and World History, historical interpretation, and source-based learning.
• Ability to promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and research skills through engaging classroom discussions.

PGT Geography

• Strong understanding of physical geography, human geography, environmental studies, map work, and geospatial concepts.
• Ability to integrate maps, atlases, digital tools, and case studies into classroom teaching.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classrooms, and educational technology.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET, STET, or other relevant teaching qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a PGT in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
