Job Responsibilities

• Teach primary or pre-primary students by delivering age-appropriate lessons across multiple subjects as prescribed by the school curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, confidence, and independent learning.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, classroom activities, and learning resources to enhance student participation.
• Foster students' language, numeracy, cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through interactive and activity-based learning.
• Monitor students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development, providing timely feedback to parents and school authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, student portfolios, and classroom observations.
• Encourage positive values, discipline, teamwork, and good classroom behaviour among students.
• Organise and participate in storytelling sessions, educational games, art and craft activities, celebrations, assemblies, and co-curricular programmes.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic performance, behavioural development, and well-being.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to ensure the smooth implementation of academic programmes and school initiatives.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, training programmes, school events, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to create interactive, activity-based, and learner-centred classroom experiences.
• Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Creativity in designing teaching aids, classroom activities, and experiential learning opportunities.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young learners.
• Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Basic proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed. or NTT qualification is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a recognised school, preferably at the pre-primary or primary level.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
