Job Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct structured coaching sessions for the assigned sport or dance discipline.
• Develop students' technical skills, physical fitness, creativity, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Organise practice sessions, competitions, tournaments, cultural programmes, performances, and inter-school events.
• Prepare annual training plans, lesson schedules, and activity plans in alignment with the school's objectives.
• Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their performance.
• Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and safety of sports equipment, dance studios, and practice areas.
• Identify talented students and provide advanced coaching for competitive participation.
• Encourage discipline, leadership qualities, and a healthy lifestyle among students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school management regarding students' development and participation.
• Participate actively in school events, annual functions, sports meets, cultural programmes, faculty meetings, and training sessions.
• Maintain attendance records, performance reports, and other documentation related to coaching and student development.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

Sports Coach (Table Tennis & Chess)

• Strong technical knowledge and coaching experience in Table Tennis or Chess.
• Ability to develop game strategies, competitive skills, and sportsmanship among students.
• Excellent organisational and event management skills.
• Knowledge of sports safety standards and coaching best practices.

Dance Teacher (Female)

• Proficiency in one or more dance forms such as Classical, Folk, Contemporary, Bollywood, or Western Dance.
• Ability to choreograph performances for school functions, competitions, and cultural events.
• Strong understanding of rhythm, movement, stage presentation, and performance techniques.
• Creativity in designing engaging dance routines for different age groups.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom and student management abilities.
• Good interpersonal, organisational, and motivational skills.
• Ability to inspire students and promote teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and student development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• B.P.Ed. or M.P.Ed. is preferred for Sports Coach positions.
• Relevant certification, diploma, or professional training in Dance will be preferred for the Dance Teacher position.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant coaching or teaching experience in a recognised school, academy, or educational institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
