Job Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature to middle school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, projects, and assessments to facilitate effective learning.
• Develop students' proficiency in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and literary appreciation.
• Encourage critical thinking, creative writing, communication skills, and active classroom participation through interactive teaching methodologies.
• Assess students' academic performance through regular assignments, class tests, projects, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, student progress, and academic documentation.
• Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and academic excellence.
• Integrate digital teaching tools, audiovisual resources, and innovative instructional techniques to enhance classroom learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and school initiatives successfully.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, literary activities, school events, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Excellent command of English language, grammar, literature, and communication.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to develop students' reading, writing, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern pedagogical practices.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in English or a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT English Teacher in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
