Job Responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies to senior secondary students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, case studies, projects, and assessments.
• Develop students' understanding of business management, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, human resource management, and business environment concepts.
• Deliver engaging classroom instruction using case-based learning, business simulations, presentations, and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
• Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and entrepreneurial skills among students.
• Assess students' academic performance through assignments, presentations, projects, practical activities, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, student progress, and academic documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active learning and academic excellence.
• Guide students in commerce-related competitions, business projects, career planning, and board examination preparation.
• Integrate current business trends, economic developments, and real-world examples into classroom teaching.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Business Studies, management principles, entrepreneurship, and commercial practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain business concepts through practical examples, case studies, and interactive discussions.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern pedagogical practices.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, analytical, and mentoring abilities.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in Business Studies, Commerce, Management, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• M.Ed., CTET, STET, or other relevant professional qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised school, preferably at the senior secondary level.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹65,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
