Job Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging dance classes for students across different age groups in accordance with the school's co-curricular programme.
• Teach one or more dance forms such as Classical, Folk, Contemporary, Western, Bollywood, or Creative Dance based on the school's requirements.
• Develop students' rhythm, coordination, flexibility, creativity, stage confidence, and performance skills.
• Choreograph dance performances for annual functions, cultural programmes, competitions, assemblies, celebrations, and other school events.
• Prepare lesson plans and training schedules that support progressive skill development.
• Identify talented students and provide advanced coaching for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
• Ensure the safe use and maintenance of dance studios, costumes, props, and audio equipment.
• Encourage discipline, teamwork, self-expression, and confidence among students.
• Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
• Collaborate with school staff and management in organising cultural events and extracurricular activities.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, training programmes, school events, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of one or more recognised dance forms and choreography techniques.
• Ability to design engaging dance routines for students of different age groups.
• Excellent demonstration, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Creativity in planning performances for cultural programmes and competitions.
• Ability to motivate students while promoting teamwork, discipline, and confidence.
• Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a passion for performing arts and student development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• Diploma, certification, or professional training in Dance or Performing Arts will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Dance Teacher, Choreographer, or Performing Arts Instructor in a recognised school, academy, or educational institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
