Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences in accordance with the school's early childhood education curriculum.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and child-friendly classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and holistic development.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, activity materials, and learning resources to support interactive and play-based learning.
• Foster the cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development of children through engaging classroom activities.
• Teach foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills using innovative and activity-based teaching methodologies.
• Monitor and assess each child's developmental milestones, learning progress, and behaviour, maintaining accurate records and observations.
• Encourage positive values, discipline, confidence, independence, and good social habits among students.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Organise storytelling sessions, music, art and craft, educational games, celebrations, and other co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to ensure effective implementation of academic programmes.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, training programmes, school events, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to create interactive, activity-based, and play-oriented learning experiences.
• Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Creativity in designing teaching aids, classroom activities, and experiential learning opportunities.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
• Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Basic proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed. or other relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Nursery Teacher Training (NTT),Montessori Training, or an equivalent teacher training programme will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognised pre-primary school, kindergarten, or early childhood education institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
