Job Responsibilities

• Teach and guide pre-primary or junior-level students through age-appropriate, activity-based learning experiences.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and creative learning materials aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independent learning.
• Support the cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development of young children through interactive teaching methods.
• Conduct storytelling sessions, rhymes, art and craft activities, educational games, and hands-on learning experiences.
• Monitor students' academic progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones while maintaining accurate records and observations.
• Encourage good manners, discipline, teamwork, and positive values among students.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's learning progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to implement academic programmes and organise school activities.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, training programmes, school events, celebrations, and co-curricular activities.
• Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of students throughout the school day.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood education and child development.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to create interactive, activity-based, and learner-centred classroom experiences.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Creativity in planning classroom activities, storytelling sessions, and learning experiences.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
• Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools and educational technology will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed., NTT, or other relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a pre-primary school, preschool, kindergarten, or early childhood education institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
