Job Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject to primary school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, classroom activities, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using activity-based, child-centred, and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' language proficiency, conceptual understanding, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes active participation and confidence.
• Encourage students to participate in academic competitions, projects, co-curricular activities, and school events.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to ensure effective implementation of academic programmes.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, examinations, workshops, training programmes, school functions, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

PRT English

• Excellent command of English language, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop students' language proficiency through interactive and creative teaching methods.

PRT Mathematics

• Strong understanding of primary-level mathematical concepts, including arithmetic, geometry, measurement, and logical reasoning.
• Ability to simplify mathematical concepts through practical examples and activity-based learning.

PRT Science

• Sound knowledge of primary-level science concepts related to environmental studies, general science, and everyday applications.
• Ability to encourage observation, experimentation, inquiry-based learning, and scientific thinking.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern pedagogical practices.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to nurturing young learners and promoting academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed. is mandatory or preferred as per school requirements.
• STET qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised primary school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹34,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
