Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences in accordance with the school's early childhood education curriculum.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and child-friendly classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and holistic development.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and activity-based learning materials to support effective classroom instruction.
• Foster children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development through interactive and play-based teaching methods.
• Teach foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and life skills using engaging classroom activities.
• Organise storytelling sessions, music, rhymes, art and craft activities, educational games, and experiential learning opportunities.
• Monitor students' academic progress, developmental milestones, and classroom behaviour while maintaining accurate records and observations.
• Encourage positive values, discipline, confidence, independence, and social skills among students.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's learning progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to ensure the effective implementation of academic programmes.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, faculty meetings, school events, celebrations, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood education and child development principles.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to create interactive, activity-based, and play-oriented learning experiences.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Creativity in designing teaching aids, classroom activities, and experiential learning opportunities.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young learners.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Basic proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology will be an added advantage.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed. is mandatory.
• Additional certification in Early Childhood Education, Nursery Teacher Training (NTT),Montessori Education, or related programmes will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognised pre-primary school, kindergarten, or early childhood education institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
