Job Responsibilities
- Teach the assigned subject in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and school academic standards.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction using innovative, activity-based, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, communication, and literary appreciation skills.
- Encourage creative writing, public speaking, debates, recitation, storytelling, and language enrichment activities.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous academic improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
- Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active participation and effective learning.
- Integrate digital teaching tools and modern pedagogical practices to enhance classroom instruction.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic performance and overall development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
- Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, school events, cultural programmes, training sessions, and co-curricular activities.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.
Required Skills
TGT Sanskrit
- Excellent knowledge of Sanskrit grammar, literature, translation, composition, and language teaching methodologies.
- Ability to make Sanskrit learning engaging through storytelling, cultural activities, and interactive classroom practices.
- Strong understanding of classical texts and modern language teaching techniques.
TGT Hindi
- Strong command of Hindi language, grammar, literature, composition, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension abilities through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Passion for promoting Hindi literature, language appreciation, and effective communication.
General Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern teaching methodologies.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT in a recognised school.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
