Job Responsibilities

• Teach primary school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
• Deliver engaging, activity-based, and student-centred lessons that make learning enjoyable and effective.
• Teach core subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS),Science, Social Science, and General Knowledge, as assigned.
• Foster students' language, numeracy, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide timely feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes confidence and active participation.
• Integrate digital teaching tools and modern pedagogical practices into classroom instruction.
• Encourage participation in co-curricular activities, projects, competitions, and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to implement academic programmes and school initiatives.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, examinations, workshops, training programmes, school functions, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of primary school curriculum and child-centred teaching methodologies.
• Ability to teach multiple subjects effectively at the primary level.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Creativity in planning interactive, activity-based, and experiential learning sessions.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern educational practices.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to nurturing young learners and promoting academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
• D.El.Ed. is mandatory.
• Additional qualifications in Elementary Education or Primary Teacher Training will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognised primary school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
