Job Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction using activity-based, technology-enabled, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active participation and effective learning.
• Encourage students to participate in subject-related projects, exhibitions, quizzes, Olympiads, and academic competitions.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

TGT History

• Strong knowledge of Indian and World History, historical events, civics, and cultural heritage.
• Ability to make historical concepts engaging through discussions, projects, maps, timelines, and multimedia resources.
• Excellent storytelling and analytical teaching skills.

TGT Mathematics

• Strong command of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, trigonometry, and logical reasoning.
• Ability to simplify mathematical concepts through practical examples and activity-based learning.
• Expertise in developing students' analytical and quantitative skills.

TGT Science

• Sound knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science at the secondary level.
• Ability to conduct practical demonstrations, laboratory activities, and inquiry-based learning.
• Passion for developing scientific thinking, observation, and experimentation skills among students.

General Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology and modern teaching methodologies.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
