Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in the overall academic, administrative, and operational management of the school.
• Supervise curriculum implementation, classroom instruction, assessment practices, and academic planning across all grades.
• Mentor and support teachers through classroom observations, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and maintain high standards of teaching and student learning outcomes.
• Coordinate examinations, academic calendars, timetables, result analysis, and school improvement programmes.
• Promote innovative, technology-enabled, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for students and staff.
• Coordinate admissions, student welfare activities, parent interactions, and school events.
• Monitor compliance with CBSE or other applicable educational board guidelines, school policies, and statutory requirements.
• Assist in staff recruitment, orientation, training, and performance management.
• Prepare academic reports, documentation, institutional records, and management presentations.
• Collaborate with the Principal and management to implement strategic initiatives that enhance academic excellence and institutional growth.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, workshops, inspections, training programmes, and school events.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Principal or school management.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership, academic planning, and school administration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
• Proven ability to mentor teachers, manage teams, and improve academic performance.
• Strong organisational, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, assessment systems, and modern pedagogical practices.
• Proficiency in school ERP systems, MS Office, digital learning platforms, and educational technology.
• Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous institutional improvement.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• M.Ed., CTET, STET, or other relevant professional qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in school administration, academic leadership, or a senior teaching role such as Vice Principal, Academic Coordinator, Head of Department, or similar position in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
