Job Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science and Information Technology to students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and school academic standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, practical exercises, worksheets, projects, assignments, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging classroom and laboratory sessions using interactive and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
• Teach computer fundamentals, operating systems, MS Office applications, internet usage, digital literacy, programming basics, and other age-appropriate computer concepts.
• Introduce students to coding, computational thinking, cybersecurity awareness, and emerging technologies as applicable.
• Supervise practical sessions in the computer laboratory and ensure the proper use and maintenance of computer systems and related equipment.
• Assess students' academic performance through practical tests, assignments, projects, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, practical work, and student progress.
• Encourage students to participate in coding competitions, technology exhibitions, IT clubs, and other computer-related activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to integrate technology into classroom teaching across subjects.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, workshops, school events, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science, Information Technology, and digital applications.
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications, programming fundamentals, and educational technology.
• Ability to teach coding concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology, computer laboratory management, and digital learning platforms.
• Good organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and technological advancement.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Relevant certifications in Computer Applications, Programming, Information Technology, or Educational Technology will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience as a Computer Teacher in a recognised school or educational institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
