Job Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and school academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction using innovative, activity-based, and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, probability, and other mathematical concepts appropriate to the assigned classes.
• Foster logical reasoning, critical thinking, quantitative aptitude, and problem-solving abilities through practical applications and interactive learning.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Prepare students for board examinations, competitive examinations, Olympiads, and other mathematics-related competitions.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active participation and academic excellence.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, school events, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to develop students' logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and quantitative aptitude.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools, smart classroom technology, and modern pedagogical practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• M.Ed., CTET, and STET qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience as a Mathematics Teacher in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
