Job Responsibilities
- Teach the assigned subject in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centred classroom instruction using modern teaching methodologies.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, communication skills, and academic confidence.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
- Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Encourage students to participate in subject-related projects, quizzes, competitions, exhibitions, and academic activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
- Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.
Subject-Specific Skills
TGT Economics
- Strong understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic development, financial literacy, and contemporary economic concepts.
- Ability to simplify economic theories using practical examples, case studies, charts, and real-world applications.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
TGT Sanskrit
- Strong command of Sanskrit grammar, literature, vocabulary, translation, and language teaching methodologies.
- Ability to develop students' reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation, and comprehension skills.
- Passion for promoting India's classical language, literature, and cultural heritage through engaging classroom instruction.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
- Familiarity with smart classroom technology and modern educational practices.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT in a recognised school.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
