Job Responsibilities
- Teach the assigned subject in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centred classroom instruction using modern teaching methodologies.
- Foster students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
- Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages active learning and participation.
- Encourage students to participate in literary activities, debates, elocution competitions, essay writing, storytelling, poetry recitation, and language-based events.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
- Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.
Subject-Specific Skills
TGT Hindi
- Strong command of Hindi language, grammar, literature, composition, and communication.
- Ability to develop students' reading, writing, comprehension, and creative writing skills.
- Passion for promoting Hindi language, literature, and cultural values through engaging teaching practices.
TGT English
- Excellent command of English grammar, literature, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking abilities.
- Expertise in teaching language through interactive, activity-based, and experiential learning approaches.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
- Familiarity with smart classroom technology and modern educational practices.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- CTET, STET, or other relevant teaching qualifications will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT in a recognised school.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹27,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
