Job Responsibilities

• Teach English to middle school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction using activity-based, technology-enabled, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
• Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative writing skills.
• Foster critical thinking, communication, and literary appreciation through the study of prose, poetry, drama, and other literary works.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide timely feedback for continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation and effective learning.
• Encourage students to participate in debates, public speaking, creative writing, storytelling, literary clubs, and language competitions.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to implement academic programmes and institutional initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school from time to time.

Required Skills

• Strong command of English grammar, literature, vocabulary, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop students' reading comprehension, writing proficiency, and spoken English through engaging teaching practices.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology, digital learning platforms, and modern educational practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in English or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET/STET qualification will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience as a TGT English Teacher in a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
