Job Responsibilities

• Teach assigned subjects for Classes 6 to 10 in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centred classroom instruction using modern and activity-based teaching methodologies.
• Teach subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Computer Science, and other subjects based on qualifications and school requirements.
• Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, communication skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide timely feedback to support continuous academic improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, academic progress, and classroom documentation.
• Create a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation and effective learning.
• Integrate smart classroom technology and digital teaching resources into daily instruction.
• Encourage students to participate in academic competitions, Olympiads, quizzes, projects, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to implement academic programmes and school initiatives.
• Participate actively in examinations, faculty meetings, workshops, training programmes, school events, and other institutional activities.
• Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Skills

• Strong subject knowledge in the relevant teaching discipline.
• Ability to teach middle and secondary school students using engaging and innovative teaching methods.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student assessment.
• Familiarity with smart classroom technology, digital learning platforms, and modern educational practices.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and time management abilities.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. is mandatory.
• CTET, STET, or other relevant teaching qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in Classes 6 to 10 at a recognised school.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Benefits and other facilities will be provided as per the school's policies.
